An accurate representation, or, old people are funny?

Every generation is duty bound to find some way of pissing off the previous generation--it's in the Code.

For a while there, the past 50 years or so, doing it with clothes was the thing. The Grunge style in the 90's was scraping the bottom of the barrel (Your clothes are ripped and dirty. What is left to offend using the medium of clothes?).

But then the internet came and provided a solution. That, and cell-phones.

"The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers."--Socrates

While I was researching the above quote, I found this, which I agree with:
"There is nothing wrong with today's teenager that twenty years won't cure. ~Author Unknown "

Which is to say, there is nothing wrong with teens today.
